Phoetry: Photography & Poetry by a Dutch girl.

Dichten en schrijven is mijn passie. Jarenlang schrijf ik al gedichten over het lieve leven, het verdrietige leven, dingen om ons heen die ons raken en meer. Versjes, kleine verhaaltjes, mijn humoristische blog, ik vind het geweldig. Schrijven is echt wat ik het liefste doe, dacht ik altijd. Tot mijn tweede grote liefde de hoek om kwam kijken: fotografie. Natuurlijk nam ik af en toe wel kiekjes voor de leuk maar de liefde is, net zoals voor het schrijven, ontembaar geworden. Daarom kwam ik op een geweldig concept: Phoetry. Gedichten en verhalen uit eigen hand, ondersteunt door mijn persoonlijke kijk op het leven middels fotografie. Een combinatie van woord en beeld. 
Ik hoop dat ik met dit nieuwe concept, dat zich in de jaren uit gaat breiden tot hopelijk iets moois, jullie kan inspireren, roeren en raken. Jullie kan laten lachen, in verbazing kan brengen en een bepaald gevoel kan oproepen. 
Ik hoop vooral dat ik iets beweeg, dat ik iets losmaak, een steun kan zijn misschien. 
Laten zien dat ik er ben, dit is mijn mooie wereld.

Rhyming and writing are my passions. For years now I'm writing poems about the sweet life, the sad life, things around us that get to us and more. Verses, little stories, my humurous blog; I love it. I always thought writing was the thing I love to do most, until my second love came peeking around the corner: photography. Of course I took some pics here and there before, but now, the love for photography has become untameable. That's why I invented this unique concept: Phoetry. Poems and stories by my own hand, enchanted by my photography. A combination of word and image. 
I hope this new concept will expand over the years and turn into something beautiful. That I can inspire, stir and touch you.  That I can make you laugh, suprise you even, or evoke a certain feeling. But above all, I hope that I can move something, swift something, that my words and photo's may be a support. 
To show you that I am here and that this is my beautiful world.
